The Mauazinho district, on the east side of Manaus, is on the chart of neighborhoods in need of social and urbanistic intervention. The main reason for chosing this area was it’s vast environmental degradation, it shows on the poor quality of life for the residents of areas with geological hazards and floods due to the heavy rainfall that destroys the hillsides and the enlargement of the valley. The goals of this project are; requalify the urban area, organize the existing floating homes and riverside communities, relocate the inhabitants of risk areas in order to improve their lives. In addition it aims to integrate the floating homes community with the entire neighborhood without losing it’s visual identity and regional typology. Through the democratization of the waterfront and fluid spaces, it is expected to qualify the built environment, minimize social inequality and promote mobility between spaces. Keywords: Urban Rehabilitation, Integration, House.
