The University of Hawaii at Manoa (UH Manoa) seeks a motivated, dynamic, experienced, and visionary leader to serve as Dean of the School of Architecture. The successful candidate has an exciting opportunity to contribute to this community-serving university grounded in a Native Hawaiian place of learning.

The School of Architecture offers the only National Architecture Accrediting Board (NAAB)-accredited professional Doctor of Architecture degree in the United States; Global Track Dual Degree; Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB)-accredited Master of Landscape Architecture; Master of Architecture; Bachelor of Environmental Design; and a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation.

The Dean is the academic and administrative leader of the School and serves as the School\’s principal advocate, judiciously balancing the best interests of the School with those of the UH Mānoa Campus, University of Hawaii System, and the community. As a member of the Provost\’s senior leadership team, the Dean ensures that the mission and goals of the School are aligned with and supportive of UH Manoa\’s and the System\’s visions and strategic missions.
