This is an in-person teaching appointment on the WSU Pullman Campus.

OPPORTUNITY:
The School of Design and Construction (SDC) at Washington State University (WSU) invites applications for a position: a full-time faculty member as a continuous career-track (non-tenure track) Assistant Professor OR a permanent tenure-track Assistant Professor.
Career Track Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must possess substantial professional experience and academic interests in the practice of architecture and have the ability to translate this into effective teaching. This faculty member will be expected to teach courses central to the architecture core curriculum at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. This is a position with an 80% Teaching, 20% service workload distribution.
Tenure Track Duties and Responsibilities:
Similar expectations as above are expected for a tenure-track candidate. The successful candidate is also required to conduct research/scholarship in a defined area related to the built environment disciplines resulting in external grant funding and peer reviewed publications. This is a position with a 40% Research, 40% Teaching, 20% Service workload distribution.
