ProPEL Volunteer With ACSA
ACSA relies on more than 600 volunteers to power our member programs. From our boards to our committees, and accreditation visitors, we seek architectural educators with a range of experiences to help us lead architectural education and research.
The following are current opportunities to participate in ACSA:
- NAAB Call for ACSA Nominees to the Board of Directors. Deadline: April 30
- ACSA Committees and Task Forces. Deadline: May 8
- NAAB Visiting Team Roster. Deadline: July 10
- 2025-26 ACSA Board of Directors. Deadline: October 9
Let us know who you are. Each opportunity has its own form or submittal requirements. However, creating or maintaining a current ACSA Profile is a requirement to apply for volunteer service.

Equity in Service. ACSA strives to make opportunities available to faculty at every level. We encourage volunteers from Black, Indigenous/Native, and People of Color, as well as from individuals teaching at minority serving institutions. We appoint groups that represent a diversity of gender and racial/ethnic backgrounds, as well as geography, institution type, tenure status.
The ACSA Board of Directors invites applications for service on the NAAB Board of Directors.
The ACSA Board of Directors invites applications from faculty at full, candidate, and affiliate member schools to participate in 2024-2025 ACSA committees, task forces, and other activities.
The ACSA Board of Directors seeks candidates for 2024 ACSA representatives on the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) Visiting Team Roster for accreditation visits that will take place between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028.
The ACSA invites applications for three positions on the Board of Directors. The applications will be for consideration by the ACSA Nominations Committee, which recommends a slate of at least two candidates for elected board positions.
