2023 Election Slate
Petition Period Closes: December 23, 2022
On behalf of the ACSA Board, we would like to acknowledge this year’s slate includes six male candidates. This was not the intended outcome of a process that involved a public call for nominations and efforts by the board and Nominations Committee to encourage faculty from a range of backgrounds to apply. We balance a number of characteristics in putting forth a board slate, including gender, race, ethnicity, region, school type, school size, sexual orientation, as well as work and volunteer experience. We discussed more than a dozen applications for these positions. Note that the current board consists of nine women and three men, with two women and one man rotating off the board.
