| The flagship publication of the Association of Collegiate School of Architecture (ACSA), published through Taylor and Francis, has been through many shapes and sizes over its 60 plus years. The last major overhaul was over ten years when the JAE adopted its current 9 x 10 high format, launched in September 2002 (Volume 56:1). In Fall 2013, the ACSA enlisted the graphic design firm, Project Projects to work with members of the JAE editorial board and the ACSA staff to develop a new design for the journal. The re-design allows for flexibility in future issues while maintaining a clear graphic identity and, perhaps as important, the new design also signals that the JAE will be a material object for the foreseeable future. Issue 68:1 entitled design+ and edited by Sheila Crane and Amy Kulper, to be shipped in the next few weeks, will be the first issue to feature the re-design. Check your mailboxes for your copy.
