Job Description:

The School of Sciences and Engineering is pleased to announce an opening for a one-year renewable-term faculty position within the Department of Architecture at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to start Fall 2025. Applicants must have experience in the sustainability in architecture and environmental design, focused on environmental sustainability, with adequate knowledge related to the social, cultural and economic consideration, and the application of environmental architecture and design in sustainable development agendas.

Requirements:

The candidate must have a PhD in Architecture or relevant fields such as architectural engineering and building science. She/he should have significant academic experience in Sustainable Architecture, environmental controls and performance-based design, preferably a candidate with a North American or similar experience.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for interviews during the month of March 2025, for an expected decision by May 2025.
