The School of Architecture & Design at the University of Kansas (KU) invites applications for a tenure/tenure-track position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Architecture with an emphasis in Health & Wellness Design beginning in the fall of 2025. The effects of built and natural environments on human health and well-being are now recognized as major aspects of how architects and designers fulfill their professional roles in the creation of healthcare, residential, educational, and workplace facilities. This position will be central in implementing coursework in this area of knowledge in the professional and graduate curricula, fostering funded research and industry partnerships in healthcare environments, and coordinating existing and future programs and facilities in the School’s Institute of Health & Wellness Design.
