Done in collaboration with the AIA and ACSA, the research entails new material through interviews and focus groups, referencing of the previous AIA Guides, use of ACSA data (i.e., Where are my people? series), interaction and feedback. The guide is to serve as a foundational document and reference for architecture schools. The document does not provide “best practices,” but rather, school administrators might use it to review and assess their internal practices, policies, and processes, as they relate to equity, with regard to faculty, students, and staff in architecture schools.
